One of the most important lessons I've learned as a small business owner, is recognizing your strengths and even your weaknesses. And the most difficult part of those lessons is asking for help with those pesky weaknesses. It's hard to give up ownership of any part of the layers that build the foundation of your business, even if those layers are tattered and torn.

I can honestly admit that I had quite a few tattered, torn and begging for help, layers that I would constantly say, "I'll get to it later." But later never actually comes, there's always just now and when you run a business EVERYTHING needs your attention NOW, like a dozen needy toddlers all wanting to be picked up at the same time, but you only have your two hands.

Enter, Bodhi & Be Marketing, a small marketing and advertising firm run by Andrea and Madison, a best friend duo for over 20 years, with a knack for making things work and a passion for developing the small business.

In the short time that I have been partnered with their firm I have seen my business flourish, but not just my business, MY passion for my business too. When you work alone, make decisions alone, struggle alone, it's easy to let self doubt creep in and wonder if you're on the right path or if you've missed the mark.

Over the past few months, as a team we've created a media blitz, making a more significant presence online, an area I just couldn't keep up with, with my hands wrists deep in mixing bowls of flowers, herbs and tea leaves. Together we've come up with a number of great initiatives that we plan to introduce in the next little while and we continue to feed off each others ideas, excited to find more ways to bring Mad Hatter Tea Co. products and events to you.

I've had the most fun I've had in a while, hashing out plans, brainstorming ideas, jotting down notes and sipping tea (of course.) This has been such a positive experience for not just Mad Hatter, but for me as well. It has given me a chance to breathe, a chance to positively take steps forward into the future.

Check out Andrea and Madison at you won't be disappointed!
